WHY YELLOW ROSES?

Today, the Yellow Rose symbolizes many things; joy freedom, friendship and new beginnings.

When the project first began, the original story, written by Steve Feazel was called “Priceless Value”. But during the filming of the documentary, the film’s director, Mike Edwards, brought a song to Steve for him to listen to. It was called, “Yellow Roses”. Steve started doing research and found that the meaning of the Yellow Rose perfectly fit the key messages of not only the film, but the entire “Yellow Roses” project. As a result of the song, and the further discovery of the flower’s meaning, the project’s name was changed to “Yellow Roses”.

We hope that young women around the world will experience the joy, freedom and new beginnings type of love that God can bring and how valuable they are.
