Starting with a desire to make a documentary film showcasing true-life stories of teen girls…and inspired by his own daughter…Emmy-Award winning filmmaker, Mike Edwards, took his camera and traveled the United States. And what he found were stories that made him laugh. Stories that made him cry. And stories that he wished people would know about their daughters.
Since that time, this award-winning film has been shown at the United Nations, screened at film festivals, broadcast on television, endorsed by national and international faith-based organizations like the Salvation Army, The Catholic Diocese, Focus on the Family and many others. And best of all, it has reconnected moms and dads with their daughters.
Themes that are dealt with in the film are:
- Pressure
- Technology
- Relationships
- Abuse
- Hope
